Fulbright Day: Romania

On May 18th, 2021, the Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission will be celebrating 75 years since the Fulbright program was initiated and 60+ years of its presence in Romania. With over 400,000 Fulbright alumni around the world and 3400+ alumni in Romania, each has a story to tell, illustrating the positive impact of the Fulbright Program on individuals, communities, institutions, and fields of study.

Join us on May 18th, 2021 for our double anniversary virtual celebration to hear stories from our Fulbright alumni, partners and friends, highlighting the manner in which the Fulbright Program has contributed to shaping the world over the 75 years of existence.

6:00 – 6:30 p.m. Welcome and opening remarks
