The Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Mid-Year Conference will take place virtually this January 27-29. This year's FLTA cohort is made up of 370 FLTAs representing over 50 countries and teaching 35 languages at 180 colleges and universities in the U.S. FLTAs come to the U.S. to teach their native language, take classes on language pedagogy, and return to their home countries with strengthened English teaching skills and a better understanding of the U.S. This year's Mid-Year Conference will also feature remarks from Deputy Assistant Secretary Ethan Rosenzweig who will welcome the FLTAs to their annual meeting.
