Millions of teachers, students, and parents were forced to adopt remote K-12 education. Amid the pandemic, it might be said that technology has saved education. It could also be argued that remote education sacrificed quality.
Join Fulbright Poland for their webinar series on new media and how it is shaping science and education. Panelists Kerry Rice, Ed. D, and Ginny Whitehouse, Ph.D., will discuss the non-pandemic context of online education and explore a more systemic perspective.
Kerry Rice is a professor in the Department of Educational Technology at Boise State University, a 2012 Fulbright U.S. Scholar to Poland, and a 2015 Fulbright Specialist to Poland. Ginny Whitehouse is a professor of multimedia journalism at Eastern Kentucky University and a 2018 Fulbright U.S. Scholar to Bulgaria. The panel will be moderated by Oktawia Gorzeńska, an expert on innovations and technology in education who graduated from Leadership Academy for Poland.
