2011 Fulbright Scholar Alumna from Sri Lanka, Gaythri Khemadasa (Wesleyan University) is a gifted pianist and the first Sri Lankan woman to win the Best Original Score for the film Thanha Rathi Ranga, at the 2015 Derana Film Awards.
Khemadasa is a dedicated humanitarian, providing music education and carving paths to opportunities for talented musicians with limited financial and social resources. She is an advocate for access to education for women and girls. She will share her inspiring story and perform an original composition live!
