War Toys ® is a California-based nonprofit organization that positively impacts the lives of children who have been affected by war. Brian will talk about starting a non-governmental organization (NGO). Critical Languages Scholarship (CLS) alumna Julia Beabout, who is CEO and Creative Director of Novaby, a global digital art production company specializing in 3D/AR/VR, will join Brian for this episode, entitled MentorTalks: A New Start. Brian and Julia will also talk about how their exchange experiences have shaped their career paths.
MentorTalks is a new, interactive event that puts U.S. Department of State exchange program alumni in touch with extraordinary mentors on a wide variety of topics. The series runs on the International Exchange Alumni Facebook Page.
