Fulbright Day: Israel – June 30
Fulbright Israel Day will celebrate two milestones, 75 years of the Fulbright Program and 65 years of Fulbright Israel, through an online exhibition and more on their website and social media.
Fulbright Jordan is pleased to announce its 1st webinar titled “Preserving Heritage, Cultivating Communities: A Reflection from Jordanian and American Fulbright Researchers” as part of the 75th anniversary of the Fulbright Program worldwide.
North Macedonia celebrated their Fulbright Day with a live event on June 4. It was co-hosted by PAS Skopje and the First Lady of North Macedonia.

For their Fulbright Day, Colombia held a conference titled “Challenges Faced by Women in Public: Lessons, Knowledge, and Paths to Overcome the Setbacks Caused by Covid-19.”
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Fulbright Program, the U.S. Embassy in Tunis organized a reception with a small group of Fulbright alumni and a larger group of alumni over Zoom at the Cultural Affairs Officer’s home on May 20.
The Bulgarian-American Fulbright Commission celebrated the 75th Anniversary of the Fulbright Program worldwide and the achievements of Fulbright Bulgaria alumni on May 24, 2021.
To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Fulbright, Bolivia will host a month of special activities to mark this momentous occasion. The main event, a virtual alumni summit called “IMPACT: 75 Years of Global Actions, Opportunities, and Connections,” will take place on May 25.
The Commission for Educational Exchange between the United States and Turkey, the Turkish Fulbright Commission, was established by a bi-national agreement signed between the United States and Turkey in 1949. Since the creation of the Commission in 1949, funding has been provided by the governments of Turkey and the United States. On May 7, Turkey celebrated 75 years of the Fulbright Program with a full day of events.
On May 18th, the Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission honored 75 years since the global Fulbright Program was initiated and 60+ years of its presence in Romania through the virtual event titled “Fulbright at 75: A Global Response to Global Opportunities and Challenges.”
