The Fulbright Program’s success is based on a sustained commitment to international bilateral partnerships and shared priorities. Throughout 2021, Fulbright Commissions, U.S. Embassies, Universities, and other Fulbright partners and supporters held Fulbright Days to celebrate the 75th anniversary with a wide and varied range of activities. In total, 66 countries and territories around the world celebrated the impact of Fulbright partnerships across the globe.
On November 12, 2021, the United States Educational Foundation in India celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Fulbright Program with the opening of the art exhibit “Reciprocation – American Fulbright Artists and India/Collaborations & Connections.” The exhibit opened on November 12, 2021 and continued until December 8, 2021.
On October 8, Fulbright Hungary commemorated the 75th anniversary of the Fulbright Program and the 30th anniversary of the Hungary Fulbright Association with an event titled, “A Community Based on Shared Values,” held at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
On October 7, Fulbright Ukraine celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Fulbright Program with an in-person event featuring live jazz music and visual art.
To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Fulbright Program, the Fulbright Commission in Australia hosted an online discussion panel featuring four pre-eminent Fulbright Scholars, and moderated by Emmy award-winning journalist and Fulbright Board member, Sara James.
Mission Cyprus celebrated the legacy of the Fulbright program in Cyprus, operating since 1962, with a reception honoring its most prominent alumni on the island and those who continue to make the Fulbright program possible.
In celebration of the worldwide Fulbright 75th anniversary, U.S. Embassy Abidjan hosted panel discussions, conferences, and a workshop on “Ideation and Literature” at American Spaces throughout Côte d’Ivoire.

The Angola Fulbright Alumni Association held an activity to increase awareness of the impact of the Fulbright Program in Angola over the past years while engaging with the youth community in Corimba, a local community in Luanda.
On September 1st, Lebanon celebrated their Fulbright Day by televising a video clip featuring Fulbright alumni on the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International (LBCI).
