The Fulbright Program’s success is based on a sustained commitment to international bilateral partnerships and shared priorities. Throughout 2021, Fulbright Commissions, U.S. Embassies, Universities, and other Fulbright partners and supporters held Fulbright Days to celebrate the 75th anniversary with a wide and varied range of activities. In total, 66 countries and territories around the world celebrated the impact of Fulbright partnerships across the globe.
In worldwide celebration of the Fulbright Program’s 75th anniversary, on August 26th, Fulbright Ecuador hosted a virtual live panel: “The Impact of Fulbrighters on Higher Education in Ecuador.”
On August 6, Latvia celebrated Fulbright Day with a social media campaign (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) that highlighted three alumni who have positively impacted U.S.-Latvia relations.
On August 25th, Fulbright Argentina hosted a virtual live panel: “The Fulbright Experience: How Fulbright Changed My Life” to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Fulbright Program and to share the personal and professional accomplishments of Fulbright alumni.

On August 19, the U.S. Embassy San José in Costa Rica celebrated the Fulbright Program’s anniversary with online features and an alumni association event.
The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) celebrates 75 years of the Fulbright Program and 70 years of the commission in 2021.
